Summer is Here
Happy July 4th! I hope you are able to enjoy a long weekend as summer beckons with all its enticements. The shift in gears and traffic patterns at this time of year seem to elicit a collective sigh of relief for us all in Greensboro. It’s usually the time for the teachers and students to come in and see us in their down time!
We welcome you back!
Things are also slowing down personally in a really wonderful way after Jason and I had our Commitment Ceremony in mid April to celebrate our seven years together. (pics below) We had a few people from England come and stay and Jason had a contingency travel from Pennsylvania to be with us. It was the most wonderful evening surrounded by those we love, we felt thoroughly celebrated. Only in the past week have I felt my feet touch back on the ground! We will be taking a river cruise on the Danube River later this year due to a lucky raffle ticket at the Greensboro Opera Society Gala last October! Thank you for all the
goodwill and well wishes, we are truly grateful.
In early May I attended the last course at Myopain Seminars for their certified graduates in dry needling. It was an extremely intense Anatomy dissection course at the Institute for Anatomical Research in Colorado Springs. All I can say is that this was the most intense experience in anatomy of my life, and it has awakened even more burning questions for me. I am adding some specific fascial techniques in with my trigger point needling, which in these early stages seems to be offering some more complete relief for my chronic pain patients
who have a lot of scar tissue from various life adventures. It’s been exciting to watch this new direction develop.
